TESTIMONIALS

Toronto Shorts gives great appreciation to the hard work of independent filmmakers around the world. The venue has great space. It's great to see a mixture of low-budget work and films featuring celebrities.  It has been a tremendous honour to feature my work at this festival.

TRAVEL

Our team really appreciated and enjoyed our Canadian premiere at Toronto Shorts International Film Festival! We thought the programme was excellent; stimulating, provocative and with a great arc and we were thrilled to be a part of it. We’ve had interesting conversations all week about the programme with folks who came out for it and people enjoyed the films and the feeling of an event!

We are also really glad to have such a great shorts platform back in the city.

Toronto Shorts was a great experience and I can't wait to see how the festival grows. I found the industry session I attended to be quite informative. The "Meet the Film Festivals" session interested me the most because of the opportunity to hear from representatives on the other side of the festival submission wall.  It took away a bit of the mystique surrounding what happens after you submit and gave useful insider info into what programmers are looking for.  The mix of panelists was great and I thought it was facilitated well.

I was blown away by the quality of all the shorts and felt honoured to be included with them. As filmmakers, it’s important for us to share our stories with an audience to complete the circle from story idea through production to screening. Toronto Shorts International Film Festival was the perfect opportunity to bring my film to a captive audience, and I’m grateful for your support. You’re doing a great job of offering an important festival of films to the region. Keep up the good work!
